What Is Acne?
Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that is characterized by blackheads, whiteheads, nodules/cysts and pimples. Acne most commonly occurs is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting approximately 50 million people annually. Acne often leads to physical and psychological problems including scarring, depression, low self-confidence and anxiety.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Treatment usually consists of 3-4 treatment sessions that are spaced four weeks apart.
Will This Help with My Acne Scarring?
This particular treatment addresses active acne lesions. Acne scars are unique in character and can be evaluated by our team of professionals. At Radiant, we offer chemical peels, Juvederm™, laser resurfacing and DermaFrac microneedling/micro-channeling which can be used to address scarring.
What Are the Side Effects?
Some patients complain of mild discomfort during the procedure, though this is rare. Immediately following the treatment redness may occur.
